School Mental Health Assistant Wanted

A dedicated Mental Health Assistant is needed at a primary school in Slough to support children with mental health issues. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with ASD/ADHD and SEMH, and be able to develop strategies for positive behaviour.

This role involves working 1:1 or in small groups, supporting learning in the classroom, and keeping track of pupil progress.

About the Role:

  • Support children's behaviour for learning in the classroom
  • Work with individual learners in the classroom 1:1, or with individuals or small groups in the Learning Support department
  • Keep track and record pupil progress

Details:

  • Location: Slough
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Salary: £80-90 per day (£20,160 - £22,760 per annum)
  • Full time: 8:30am-4pm
