Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. This role involves providing specialist assessments, follow-ups, and short-term interventions for young people aged under 18 suffering from acute and complex emotional, behavioral, and psychological crises.

About the Role
  • Assess and provide support to children and adolescents experiencing mental health crises.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Conduct home visits and provide ongoing support to families.
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Mental Health Nursing or Social Work.
  • Up-to-date professional registration.
  • Evidence of further professional development/training.
  • Membership to a professional body.
Essential Skills
  • Knowledge of mental health problems affecting young people.
  • Ability to work with children and young people in challenging situations.
  • A current driving license is essential (unless you have a disability which prevents you from driving).
Working Hours

This role requires flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
