About the Role:
We are seeking a Locum Specialist in Youth Mental Health to join our CAMHS DBT team. As a consultant, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, providing evidence-based therapeutic approaches to young people with complex needs. Your excellent clinical skills and wide medical knowledge will enable you to provide high-quality care and support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To undertake direct assessment of young people admitted into the programme
  • To formulate treatment plans and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • To liaise with other agencies and contribute to interagency work
  • To provide clinical guidance and support to junior staff

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment
  • CCST in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or Inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register in Child and Adolescent psychiatry
  • Excellent clinical skills using bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge
  • Able to deliver undergraduate or postgraduate teaching and training

Salary: £70,000 - £100,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus benefits package including pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave.
