Overview:

  • This is a full-time, permanent role in a fast-paced sales environment
  • The position can be based in our Cheltenham office or home-based with regular visits to the office to collaborate with colleagues
  • You will enjoy interacting with customers face-to-face and remotely, with occasional travel and overnight stays
  • Responsible for identifying and securing new clients of all sizes
  • Engage with clients to provide tailored solutions for schools through various communication channels
  • Attend key conferences to generate new business leads
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts to the Client Director using pipeline reporting and CRM systems
  • Support the wider team in managing relationships with key partners
  • Collaborate with Service and Renewal teams to deliver an exceptional new business customer experience
  • Offer insurance solutions to clients and model effective protection through the provision of suitable insurance products
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and provide introductions to support the process

    Requirements:

    • Good understanding of general and legal principles of insurance
    • Familiarity with relevant regulatory and legal frameworks
    • A minimum of 2 years' experience in the insurance industry, preferably in insurance broking or sales
    • Knowledge of sales techniques and processes for selling to customers
    • Understanding of Education Insurance, preferably gained in an insurance broker or insurer environment

    • Attention to detail and willingness to learn
