Insurance Sales Professional

Strive for excellence in sales and unlock new opportunities with Stride Resource Management Ltd as a Client Executive in our New Business Education team.
Overview:
- This is a full-time, permanent role in a fast-paced sales environment
- The position can be based in our Cheltenham office or home-based with regular visits to the office to collaborate with colleagues
- You will enjoy interacting with customers face-to-face and remotely, with occasional travel and overnight stays
- Responsible for identifying and securing new clients of all sizes
- Engage with clients to provide tailored solutions for schools through various communication channels
- Attend key conferences to generate new business leads
- Provide accurate sales forecasts to the Client Director using pipeline reporting and CRM systems
- Support the wider team in managing relationships with key partners
- Collaborate with Service and Renewal teams to deliver an exceptional new business customer experience
- Offer insurance solutions to clients and model effective protection through the provision of suitable insurance products
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and provide introductions to support the process
Requirements:
- Good understanding of general and legal principles of insurance
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory and legal frameworks
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in the insurance industry, preferably in insurance broking or sales
- Knowledge of sales techniques and processes for selling to customers
- Understanding of Education Insurance, preferably gained in an insurance broker or insurer environment

- Able to work independently and use initiative, as well as collaborate with a high-performing sales team
- Able to work flexibly to achieve tight deadlines/targets with good organisation skills
