Job Description: SEN Learning Assistant - Inclusive Environment

beBee Professionals in Southport is seeking an experienced SEN Learning Assistant to support our inclusive learning programs. This role involves working closely with SEN students to facilitate their educational and personal growth in a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement individualized education plans that cater to the unique needs of each student.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs, helping them to build confidence and reach their full potential.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting social skills and emotional intelligence among students.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in Special Education or a related field is required for this role.
  • Previous experience working with children with special needs is highly valued.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers, students, and parents.
Benefits and Salary:
  • The estimated salary for this role is $48,000 - $58,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
