Job Description:

Aeris IoT SaaS seeks a highly skilled Business Development Lead to join our team in London. In this impactful role, you will lead automotive customer relationships for new and existing business on Aeris Mobility Suite (AMS).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine drivers' and OEMs needs and desires.
  • Understand the competition and other global connected car offerings.
  • Crisply identify unique selling points and key value propositions.
  • Work directly with OEMs to manage legal issues including contracts.
  • Provide information for management by preparing short-term and long-term sales forecasts, reports, and analyses.
  • Help manage overall program profitability between Aeris and OEM customers.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending meet ups, conferences, workshops, staying abreast of innovations, establishing personal networks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor/Master degree in a business-related discipline or engineering, MBA a plus.
  • 10+ years' experience, at least 5 years of automotive connected vehicle experience with OEM or Tier 1 supplier.
  • Experience with embedded products and hardware, OTA implementations, as-a-Service delivery, LTE, GSM, Wi-Fi, and working with service providers/operators and hardware vendors.
  • A passion for excellent customer service.
  • A desire to take charge and lead.
  • A ‘roll up the sleeves’ attitude with a startup spirit.
  • Very strong written communication skills.
  • Team player with excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, and cross-functional teams, and third parties.
  • Willing to travel 50%.
