About the Role:

As a Strategic Financial Partner, you will be responsible for providing financial insights that drive better performance. You will work closely with our Client Account Directors to support and advise on decision-making processes, ensuring that our clients' needs are met effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis: Operate in a finance business partnering capacity to support the client account teams in providing insights that drive informed decision-making.
  • Client Support: Work collaboratively with Client Account Directors to prepare and analyze monthly job trackers, identifying significant variances and providing commentary.
  • Management Reporting: Produce period and year-end results for relevant Client Account teams, highlighting variances, trends, and impacts on annual business plans and quarterly forecasts.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Support Client Account teams in the timely preparation of forecasts and budgets, reviewing and challenging assumptions.
  • Business Partnering: Regularly review and actively support Client Account teams in managing working capital, including sales reserves, aged debt, and WIP.
  • Communication: Provide detailed analysis as required to guide and assist Client teams' decision-making.
  • Process Improvement: Drive continual improvement to current processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Fully or part-qualified AAT, and/or working towards a formally recognized accounting qualification (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA).
  • Natural ability to partner and build strong, trusted relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work autonomously and plan/prioritize accordingly.
  • Previous experience in a similar role and organization.
  • Demonstrable communication skills complete with high standards of accuracy and presentation.
  • Knowledge of SAGE Intacct or similar finance platform preferable but not essential.
  • Strong MS Excel skills.
