About the Role

In this critical position, you will operate in a finance business partnering capacity, providing strategic support and advice to client account teams. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting client account teams in delivering strategic objectives, leveraging your expertise to drive financial excellence.
  • Collaborating with the Finance Director – Marketing services to achieve operational goals and objectives.
  • Producing timely and accurate financial results, including period and year-end reports, management analysis, and variance analysis.
  • Partnering with Client Account Directors to analyze job trackers, highlighting trends and impacts on annual business plans and quarterly forecasts.
  • Post-month end de-briefs with Account Directors, focusing on P&L performance, staff costs, risks, and opportunities.
  • Reviewing working capital management (sales reserves, aged debt, WIP) and supporting client account teams in optimizing their financial performance.
  • Preparing and reviewing forecasts and budgets, challenging assumptions, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Working collaboratively with client account teams to ensure they understand the financial implications of operational decisions.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for the finance department, attending regular meetings with client account directors.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Fully or part-qualified AAT, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA certification, or be working towards a recognized accounting qualification.
  • Strong MS Excel skills, with knowledge of SAGE Intacct or similar finance platforms preferred.
