Job Title: Quality Improvement and Assurance Lead

Job Summary:

The Quality Improvement and Assurance Lead will play a key role in supporting the Quality Manager and working closely with the Head of Quality, Curriculum, Learner Delivery and Accreditation teams to further develop and lead quality assurance processes. This includes supporting teams to collect quality data, across a range of KPIs, and completing self-assessment reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Embed quality processes and performance across the WEA, working with a range of teams.
  2. Coordinate the collection of evidence through audits and deep dives to inform quality strategies and actions.
  3. Support Curriculum and Delivery teams in preparation for external quality reviews, awarding organisation audits, and preparation for Ofsted.
  4. Involvement in other projects and tasks related to quality and performance across the WEA.
  5. Ensure high integration of quality processes resulting in positive outcomes for learners.
  6. Provide clear analysis of performance that informs and develops quality directives.
  7. Ensure the educational experience for students is of the highest quality and that teachers continue to develop pedagogical approaches and engage with educational technology.
  8. Ensure external quality reviews meet expectations and continue to ensure alignment to awarding organisations, Ofsted, and other stakeholders' expectations.
  9. Inform, influence, and support wider projects, working collaboratively across the WEA.
  10. Experience of Ofsted.
  11. Intellectual ability to analyse complex data and identify trends including current performance measures.
  12. Ability to lead, support, mentor and coach teams and individuals to reach their potential and ensure continuous improvement of quality.
  13. Creative and innovative, with an understanding of educational technology tools and methodologies.
