Job Description

The Workers' Educational Association (WEA) is seeking a talented individual to join our National Quality Team as a Quality Improvement and Assurance Lead. This is a key role that will support the Quality Manager and work closely with the Head of Quality, Curriculum, Learner Delivery and Accreditation teams to further develop and lead our quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support teams to collect quality data, across a range of KPIs, and to support in the completion of self-assessment reports.
  • Undertake quality audits and deep dives which will feed into quality improvement strategies.
  • Undertake lesson observations and learning walks and support delivery colleagues to build on pedagogical developments.
  • Support the Association Development Days (ADD) to provide professional staff development of colleagues across the Curriculum and Learner Delivery teams.
  • Work alongside the Accreditation team to support the IQA process in preparation for external quality reviews.
Requirements
  • Experience of quality assurance and improvement processes.
  • Ability to lead, support, mentor and coach teams and individuals in order that they can reach their potential and ensure continuous improvement of quality in line with the Association's aspirations for students.
  • Intellectual ability to analyse complex data and identify trends including current performance measures.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across the WEA as one collective team.
