Job Title: Accountancy Manager

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong accounting and financial management background. As an Accountancy Manager at Ensors, you will be responsible for providing high-quality financial services to our clients, including management accounts, VAT returns, and other accounting matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review management accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Support the junior team with queries and provide guidance on accounting and financial matters.
  • Review client records and make recommendations for improvements and assist with implementation projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting and financial regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and standards.
Requirements:
  • ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong accounting and financial management skills, with a solid background in finance operations work.
  • Experience in a similar position, preferably within an accountancy/bookkeeping practice or professional services environment.
  • High level Excel skills and experience with Xero, Quickbooks, Sage, and other accounting software.
  • Strong ICT skills and ability to utilize software systems to their full potential.
  • Self-motivated and able to work without supervision.
  • Full UK driving licence with access to own transport.
