Green Recruitment Company is seeking an experienced Offshore Consents Manager to lead offshore consenting activities for one of its projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver offshore consents and licensing requirements for our projects, collaborating with the Environment and Consents Lead and the wider team.
  • Provide technical environmental and consenting guidance (offshore) and support the assessment, development, and execution phases.
  • Implement and update the offshore consenting strategy and manage budgets during the assessment, development, and execution phases.
  • Prepare scope of work documents and review technical documents related to consenting activities.
  • Identify consenting risks and develop mitigation plans for key risks associated with design, construction, operation, and decommissioning.
  • Oversee the delivery of surveys and studies required to support Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA).
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (consulting bodies, statutory authorities, and key consultees) to support offshore consenting requirements.
  • Ensure environmental and consenting requirements are integrated into design by building strong relationships with the project team and technical workstreams.
  • Keep key project development documentation, such as the commitment register, programme, and risk register, up to date.
  • Perform other activities as may be reasonably required by our company from time to time, including community consultations and supporting the events schedule.
  • A degree in a relevant discipline (such as Marine Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering, Planning, Geography, or Law).
  • Working within a renewable energy or environmental consultancy, with a clear focus on project consenting and development, taking projects through the consenting process.
