Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting, delivering, and facilitating various programs directed by management as part of the School-Aged Immunisation Service assisting nurses in the schools or office.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Health Promotion and Education: Assist in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of health promotion/education and public health school-age immunization program.
  2. Collaborative Working: Promote and facilitate collaborative working between team, schools, and other educational institutions and families in the delivery of the immunization program.
  3. Logistics and Administration: Ensure the necessary requirements for storing and transporting immunizations, and the procedures for collecting and delivering vaccinations to the site.
  4. Database Management: Maintain databases to ensure records are kept up-to-date and documents are prepared for school visits.
  5. Compliance and Quality: Adhere to the Standard Operating Procedure for School Immunisation (SOPs) and maintain the cold chain, ordering, and arranging transport of vaccinations to site.
  6. Company Policies: Comply with Company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • GCSE level of education or equivalent with a minimum of grade 'C' in both English and Maths.
  • Working in a community setting (schools) and/or working with children & young people (desirable).
  • Prioritise and manage own workload without supervision.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £32,000 - £35,000 per annum, based on experience. Additional benefits include pension, supermarket and high street discounts, employee assistant programme, employee referral scheme, and 25 days annual leave.
