Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Staff Administration Specialist to join our team in the public sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of the HR Workforce team, associated payroll procedures and pension administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the payroll process from start to finish
  • Process payrolls and manage payroll data
  • Provide expert advice on payroll-related matters
  • Establish and maintain systems and processes to facilitate the timely and accurate delivery of the monthly payroll

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience
  • Professional payroll qualification
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Specialist knowledge and understanding of statutory regulations such as PAYE, NI, and statutory benefits
  • Knowledge of NHS Terms and Conditions of Service and pensions administration in a payroll setting

The estimated salary for this role is £42,939-£50,697 per annum, depending on experience.
