About the Team:

Our supply chain team is the backbone of our business, ensuring seamless production and distribution processes. They work closely with suppliers, distribution networks, and departments to meet demand, control costs, and drive continuous improvement.

About the Role:

We're seeking a Logistics Assistant to join our team, playing a crucial role in our supply chain and logistics operations. You'll work closely with our logistics team to ensure the smooth and efficient movement of products from suppliers to our warehouse and from our warehouse to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Arrange transportation with freight forwarders to collect goods from suppliers and deliver them to our warehouses, and prepare basic customs documentation.
  • Monitor and report on the inbound schedule of our warehouses in the UK and internationally.
  • Assist the warehouse team in receiving and verifying stock from suppliers, investigate discrepancies, shortages, damages, and overages.
  • Follow up with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery of stock.
  • Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely payment to suppliers and freight forwarders.
  • Maintain up-to-date Excel trackers and reports on the status of shipments, and communicate any delays to the relevant departments.
Candidate Requirements:
  • A degree-level qualification or equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or Business Management.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations and customs documentation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
