About the Team:

Our supply chain team is the backbone of our business, ensuring seamless production and distribution processes. They work closely with departments, suppliers, and distribution networks to meet demand, control costs, and drive continuous improvement.

About the Role:

As a Logistics Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in our supply chain operations. You'll work closely with our logistics team to ensure the smooth movement of products from suppliers to our warehouse and from our warehouse to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrange transportation with freight forwarders to collect goods from suppliers and deliver them to our warehouses.
  • Monitor and report on the inbound schedule of our warehouses in the UK and internationally.
  • Assist the warehouse team in receiving and verifying stock from suppliers, investigating discrepancies, shortages, damages, and overages.
  • Follow up with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery of stock.
  • Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely payment to suppliers and freight forwarders.
  • Maintain up-to-date Excel trackers and reports on the status of shipments, communicating any delays to relevant departments.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A degree-level qualification or equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or Business Management.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations and customs documentation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
