About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Willing Care. As a Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring the care, welfare, and safety of all patients is maintained at the highest possible standard.

Key Responsibilities

Ensuring the care, welfare, and safety of all patients is maintained at the highest possible standard.
Completing physical/psychological assessments of new patients on admission.
Creating individualised care plans for patients.
Updating care plans daily.
Safely administering and recording of medication.
Liaising effectively with external suppliers and healthcare providers.
Monitoring and developing performance of care staff.
Ensuring effective rotas are in place.
Use a person-centred approach to ensure every individual's needs are understood and met with the greatest privacy, dignity, and respect.

Requirements

You must have a Registered Nurse Qualification (RMN).
Valid UK NMC Pin.
Clear DBS.

About the Hospital

Our in-patient unit provides specialist mental health and complex care to adolescents between the ages of 13-18 years. The service has been purpose built and equipped to provide the highest standards of care; there is an onsite school, therapy rooms, recreational areas, and a beautiful courtyard.
