About the Role
As a CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be part of a new and exciting partnership venture between Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Trust (SABP) and Elysium Healthcare. You will be employed by Elysium Healthcare but seconded to SABP through the hybrid clinical and operational model. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver an evidence-based and focused treatment plan to support children and young people with general mental health Tier 4 presentations, including disordered eating.

Key Responsibilities
Review referrals and determine appropriateness for admission
Conduct admission assessments and maintain effective management plans of all young people on the unit
Conduct risk assessments and review regularly
Allocate specialist psychological treatments in line with individual needs
Assess physical health
Ensure effective liaison with referring teams
Facilitate regular CPA review meetings
Act as Responsible Clinician for young people detained under the Mental Health Act
Involve in quality, inspections, and governance processes

Requirements
Registered on the Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with a licence to practice
Experience of CAMHS Forensic and/or Eating Disorders desirable
