About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. As a CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to children and young people with mental health needs, including those with eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for young people with mental health needs
  • Provide specialist psychological treatments, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and family therapy
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective care coordination and communication
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines
Requirements
  • Registered on the Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with a licence to practice
  • Experience of working with children and young people with mental health needs, including those with eating disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
