Residential Project Manager

CSC Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic team working on residential projects in Didcot. This permanent role offers a competitive salary of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing costs and ensuring value for money throughout all stages of development. Key responsibilities include procurement and tendering, cost control and management, contract administration, and reporting and financial tracking.
Key Responsibilities
* Procurement & Tendering: Manage the procurement processes for contractors, suppliers, and services. Prepare and issue tender documents, evaluate bids, and assist with contractor selection.
* Cost Control & Management: Oversee and control the project budget, providing regular cost reports and forecasts. Ensure the project stays within financial constraints, identifying and addressing potential cost overruns early.
* Contract Administration: Manage and administer contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions. Review and negotiate contract amendments or variations.
* Reporting & Financial Tracking: Provide detailed cost reports to senior management, highlighting risks, opportunities, and key financial metrics. Prepare accurate financial projections and monitor the financial health of the project.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience in cost control and management, procurement and tendering, and contract administration. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for success in this role.
