About the Role:
CSC Recruitment Ltd is looking for a highly skilled Quantitative Development Manager to lead our residential projects in Didcot. This role involves overseeing the development of housing and apartment schemes, focusing on procurement, tendering, cost control, and reporting. You will play a critical part in ensuring the financial success and smooth running of the project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement & Tendering: Lead and manage the procurement processes for contractors, suppliers, and services.
  • Cost Control & Management: Oversee and control the project budget, providing regular cost reports and forecasts.
  • Contract Administration: Manage and administer contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Reporting & Financial Tracking: Provide detailed cost reports to senior management, highlighting risks, opportunities, and key financial metrics.

Requirements:
This role demands a solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. A relevant degree and extensive experience in quantity surveying or a related field are necessary. The estimated salary for this role is £65,000 - £85,000 per year.
