About the Job

EAST SUFFOLK AND NORTH ESSEX NHS FOUNDATION TRUST is an exciting place to work, offering a unique opportunity to develop your skills and expertise as a Pharmacy Technician. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with the Senior Clinical Pharmacist - Critical Care Services to deliver high-quality pharmacy services, ensuring the delivery of all aspects of pharmacy service to specialist high-risk patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced level clinical pharmacy service to Critical Care patients in line with pharmacy Key Performance Indicators and agreed clinical standards.
  • Support Senior Clinical Pharmacist - Critical Care Services and provide ongoing clinical support and guidance to pharmacy colleagues and multidisciplinary team.

Person Specification

  • GPhC registered
  • Medicines Reconciliation trained
  • Regional Accredited Checking Technician qualification
  • B-Tech in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent
  • Certificate in Medicines Management (desirable)
  • Patient Consultation Skills (desirable)
