About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced SEN teaching assistant to join our team on a long-term basis. As an autism specialist, you will be working with students across Key Stage 1 and 2, providing one-on-one and group support to help them overcome barriers to learning and develop social skills.

This is a full-time position, with an estimated salary of £180,000 per year, based on the National Living Wage and assuming a 52-week contract. The job involves working in a structured and nurturing environment, helping students build confidence and achieve their full potential.

Job Responsibilities:
• Providing individualized support to students with autism spectrum disorder
• Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement personalized education plans
• Assisting students with daily living tasks and ensuring their overall well-being
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting progress to parents and carers

Requirements:
• Qualified teaching assistant or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of autism spectrum disorder and its impact on learning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Enhanced DBS clearance required
