As a Specialist Mental Health Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in providing low-intensity psychological therapies and leading therapeutic groups.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will have a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy and excellent communication skills, with experience working in a mental health setting, preferably in Primary Care or Community Mental Health. This role requires strong collaboration and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Working with individuals experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues
- Delivering low-intensity psychological therapies, such as Behavioural activation
- Leading therapeutic and psycho-educational groups
The salary for this role is around £42,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of the position in providing high-quality care to patients. In addition, NHSScotland offers a comprehensive benefits package, including the NHS pension scheme and generous annual leave.
