At Right Now Recruitment, we are looking for a skilled Account Manager to join our team in the Kent region. As a sales professional, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing and new accounts and driving revenue growth.

We are seeking a candidate with a solid understanding of asphalt/aggregates or similar building materials and experience in selling to or account managing national builders merchants. Ideally, you have a full driver's license and are based in Kent.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include a 9% company pension contribution, full autonomy in your role, and a company car allowance.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of existing and new accounts
  • Developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Maintaining and growing existing relationships with customers
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience in B2B sales, ideally within construction, builders merchants, and aggregates
  • Able to work independently and plan your own diary
  • Confident to present at quarterly meetings
  • Proactive and able to solve problems quickly
