Grafton Banks Finance Ltd is pleased to be partnering with a reputable accountancy practice in Kent. This exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Accountant to support the partners and senior managers. The ideal candidate will have the ability to progress through AAT or ACA/ACCA studies within a vibrant team.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Accurately prepare financial statements for clients, including limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
  2. Prepare tax computations and provide bookkeeping services.
  3. Ensure timely submission of VAT returns and filing of Companies House and HMRC documents.
  4. Offer general administrative support to the directors.
  5. Occasionally provide cover for payroll support.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • BSc Finance & Accountancy graduate (2023 or 2024) with relevant work experience.
  • Studying towards AAT with prior experience working within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
