Job Overview:

Austin Fraser is currently seeking a highly skilled Financial Support Specialist to support our finance team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports, as well as performing reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in accounts and payroll to gain experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role is expected to last for 3 months, with a competitive hourly rate of £12-£15 available.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable.
  • Process company payroll accurately and timely.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
  • Work closely with the finance team to streamline accounting functions and operations.
  • Perform reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant, particularly with payroll processing.
  • Immediate availability to start the role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
