Pharmacy Technician Project Manager

About the Role
NHS England is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our Pharmacy Technician Team in the South West region. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of pharmacy technicians of the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, progress, and report risk and issue management through the central PMO.
- Liaise with appropriate functions across national and regional programmes.
- Liaise with appropriate functions across regional and national portfolios.
- Design and implement appropriate teaching and learning to support trainees and their educational supervisors.
- Be an active member of the Trainee Team contributing to the design and development of the pharmacy education programme.
- Support the business planning processes to provide input into the strategic development of the work of the department.
- Identify and support pharmacy trainees requiring additional support.
- Contribute to the availability of high-quality training and support for Pharmacy Practice and Educational Supervisors.
- Support equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives in pharmacy education.

Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in pharmacy services or BTEC Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent or master's in pharmacy or equivalent.
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Evidence of continued professional development.
Desirable
- Knowledge of healthcare education management or commissioning, acquired through post-graduate diploma or equivalent experience or training.
- Comprehensive knowledge of project principles, techniques, and tools, such as Agile, Prince 2 Foundation, and Microsoft Project or equivalent experience.
