Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team as a Project Manager. The successful candidate will have a passion for education and training, and will be responsible for supporting the development of pharmacy technicians of the future.

Main Duties
  • Develop and manage project plans, progress, and report risk and issue management through the central PMO.
  • Liaise with appropriate functions across national and regional programmes.
  • Liaise with appropriate functions across regional and national portfolios.
  • Design and implement appropriate teaching and learning to support trainees and their educational supervisors.
  • Be an active member of the Trainee Team contributing to the design and development of the pharmacy education programme.
  • Support the business planning processes to provide input into the strategic development of the work of the department.
  • Identify and support pharmacy trainees requiring additional support.
  • Contribute to the availability of high-quality training and support for Pharmacy Practice and Educational Supervisors.
  • Support equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives in pharmacy education.

Person Specification

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who can support the Lead Pharmacy Technician and Regional Facilitator with key aspects of delivering a portfolio of programmes and interventions.

The successful candidate will have a passion for education, a sound understanding of community or hospital pharmacy and primary care, experience working as part of a multi-professional team, and a track record of delivering projects to deadlines.

In addition, the successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external.
