Job Summary

The Maternity and Neonatal Partnership Lead will act as a conduit between service users and staff across the Integrated Care Board, facilitating communication and driving change. This role will ensure that the voices of families are heard and represented at local, regional, and national levels.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of the Maternity and Neonatal Partnership workplan, ensuring alignment with national and local drivers for transformation and quality improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with providers, commissioners, and local system partners to influence quality, safety, and productivity of maternity and neonatal services.
  • Seek to recognize, understand, and feedback the voices of families to inform service improvement and transformation.
  • Act as a leader for change and a critical friend to professionals, ensuring activities and plans are effective and reflective of feedback gained through engagement with service users.
  • Recruit and induct volunteer service users, providing access to appropriate training to support the delivery of the workplan.
  • Attend and chair formal Maternity and Neonatal Partnership meetings, ensuring all stakeholders can contribute to the discussion.
  • Stay aware of national reports, guidance, and policy to ensure local work aligns with and delivers required outcomes.
