City Building, a highly successful and evolving business, is seeking an experienced Receptionist to cover maternity leave. This part-time role offers two different working patterns, both of which will provide an ideal opportunity for the right candidate to join our team.

As the first point of contact for all visitors, you will be responsible for greeting, welcoming, directing, and announcing them appropriately. You will also be expected to answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls. Excellent interpersonal skills, a pleasant demeanor, and excellent communication and organisational skills are essential for this role.

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar position and possess a broad knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Word and Excel. This temporary role is expected to run until October 2024. The estimated salary for this position is between £19,000 and £22,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Working Patterns

We offer two part-time positions for this role:

  1. 21 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8.00 am – 12.15 pm
  2. 20.5 hours per week, Monday – Thursday, 12.15 pm – 4.30 pm, Friday, 12.15 pm – 3.30 pm
