Inventum Group seeks a seasoned Global Inventory Planning Lead to oversee the management of global inventory and drive strategic initiatives to achieve business objectives.

Role Overview

This is a key role within our organization, responsible for developing and implementing effective inventory planning strategies to meet sales targets, optimize inventory levels, and maximize profitability.

About the Job

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in global inventory planning at a managerial level and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining accurate forecasts and inventory models to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborating with merchandising and replenishment teams to define regional revenue and procurement targets.
  • Implementing and monitoring inventory rebalancing and markdown strategies to optimize stock levels.
  • Providing expert guidance on inventory management best practices and process improvements.
  • Maintaining open communication channels with stakeholders to ensure alignment on business objectives.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in global inventory planning at a managerial level.
  • Demonstrated expertise in inventory management software and systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to build strong relationships with colleagues.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of financial metrics.
