We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Primary Care Nurse to join our team at HMP Five Wells, a category C prison located in Wellingborough.
HMP Five Wells is a state-of-the-art resettlement prison with a capacity for 1750 inmates, offering a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients.
As a Senior Primary Care Nurse, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to our patients, preventing hospital admissions and promoting best practice.
You will contribute to our nursing strategy, vision, and values, which prioritize patient-centered care, compassion, and excellence.
We offer a competitive salary of up to £44,000 (depending on experience), a bespoke induction program, and opportunities for regional and national career development.

Key Responsibilities- Lead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to patients.
- Contribute to our nursing strategy, vision, and values.
- Promote best practice, clinical supervision, and continuous quality improvement.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of our patients.
- Registered Nurse Adult qualification.
- Current professional registration with the NMC.
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development.
- Understanding of clinical governance, health and safety, QOF, EBP, and national standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
