**National Theatre Job Opportunity: Head of Play Development**

We are seeking a highly skilled theatre professional to join our team as Head of Play Development. This key role will support the artistic leadership and contribute to the delivery of new work for the National Theatre's stages.

This dual-function position requires experience in project development, artist nurturing, and dramaturgical expertise. You will work closely with writers, directors, and theatre-makers to build a diverse slate of projects at scale.

Responsibilities include:

  • Literary development and commissioning process management
  • Collaborating with senior artists and delivering productions at scale
  • Leading the dramaturgical team and fostering connections between NT Studio and main building
  • Developing new work into production and building creative teams

Salary: £75,000 - £95,000 per annum, depending on experience.
