Event Manager - Travel Industry

We are seeking an experienced Event Manager to join our team at Antella Travel Recruitment. As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing events and special interest tours to increase company market share in the lucrative travel industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement event strategies to drive business growth
  • Coordinate with internal resources to ensure prompt delivery of all offers
  • Participate in sales calls and attend surveys and coordination of events
  • Create a dedicated service to offer within this segment, pulling together all the services we already offer and presenting them to the sales team for promotion to their agents
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in winning and delivering MICE programs in Europe
  • Proven background in creating, proposing, and operating MICE and SIT packages
  • A strong team leader with a proven record of developing, growing, nurturing, and mentoring a team
  • MUST be flexible to travel when required for any VIP or Training Sales teams
  • Able to work on own initiative and/or with others on projects
  • Experience in creating and delivering high-quality events documentation
  • Able to flex between being in the detail and driving the strategic direction
  • Some marketing knowledge is preferable, especially in the use of social media and other marketing tools
