About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our Adult Community Speech and Language Therapy team at Wirral Community Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced Speech and Language Therapist to work with adults in the community, assessing and managing communication and swallowing difficulties.

The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality services, a commitment to ongoing professional development, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

As a member of our friendly and supportive team, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing effective treatment plans to meet the needs of adults with communication and swallowing difficulties.
  • Providing individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based approaches and technologies to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and clinical guidelines to advance your professional knowledge and skills.
