VSA Campus Transport Specialist

VSA's Linn Moor Campus is a pioneering community-based care provider for individuals with learning disabilities and other additional support needs, recognized nationwide for its work with autism. Our focus is on developing meaningful life skills and personal fulfillment for the children and young adults we support.
We are seeking an experienced Driver to transport staff to and from Linn Moor Campus, working various shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. The role is ad-hoc, so shifts are not guaranteed every week. A D1 entitlement on your driving license is essential.
In addition to promoting passenger safety, you will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are roadworthy at all times. Occasionally, you may be required to provide cover for other campus drivers, transporting pupils and undertaking basic DIY tasks around the campus.
Main Responsibilities:
- Transport staff to and from Linn Moor Campus in the morning, afternoon, and evening shifts as required.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure vehicles are roadworthy.
- Drive vehicles carefully and considerately to guarantee passenger safety.
- Carry out any other reasonable tasks within your capabilities as required.
Key Skills and Qualities:
- Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and become part of a team.
Personal Qualities:
- Maintain composure under pressure.
- Punctuality is essential.
Job Requirements:
- Holding a full driving license with a D1 entitlement is mandatory.
Bonus: Good knowledge of Aberdeen and surrounding areas could be beneficial.
