We are seeking a Support/Care Worker to join our Northfield Lodge Service team in Aberdeen. This part-time permanent position comes with a competitive salary of £20 per hour and an attractive benefits package.

Northfield Lodge is a two-storey property situated in its own grounds in the Northfield area of Aberdeen, providing long-term residential placements and 24-hour support for adults with ongoing mental health conditions. Our primary objective is to promote independence through person-centred support tailored to each individual's needs and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality support to residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of personalized care plans for residents.
  • Ensuring a safe and protective environment for residents by adhering to health, safety, and security procedures.
  • Participating in training and development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Fostering positive relationships with residents, families, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • SCQF Level 6 in Social Services and Healthcare or willingness to achieve it within 3 years.
  • Experience working in a busy environment.
  • Personal qualities such as approachability, ethics, and non-judgmentalism.
