Composites Manufacturing Engineer Opportunity

MCS Group is excited to announce a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Composites Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our client's manufacturing team, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and excellence in composite manufacturing.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Composites Manufacturing Engineer to support the development and implementation of advanced composite manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will have a strong background in composite materials and manufacturing, with a proven track record of delivering engineering solutions and improving production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement advanced composite manufacturing processes to meet the needs of the organization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new products and processes
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes
  • Provide technical guidance and support to production teams to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement
Requirements
  • HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline, or at least 5 years relevant experience
  • Proven experience in composite manufacturing, with a strong understanding of composite materials and processes
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel, with experience in 3D modeling and engineering drawings
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on quality and safety
