Composites Manufacturing Engineer Opportunity

MCS Group is excited to announce a new opportunity for a Composites Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Ballymena. Our client, a market-leading manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled professional to support their growth and innovation in the composites industry.

About the Role

As a Composites Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the business to increase its capability and understanding of composite technologies. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering engineering solutions and embedding strong production processes to meet the future needs of the organisation
  • Supporting the development of composite manufacturing processes and improving material selection
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and problem-solving techniques
  • Developing and implementing 3D modeling and engineering drawing skills
  • Generating ERP and MBOM routing and ensuring compliance with industry standards
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline or at least 5 years relevant experience
  • Previous experience of composite manufacturing in a fast-paced engineering/manufacturing environment
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel, and 3D modeling experience
