Job Title: Composites Manufacturing Engineer

MCS Group is seeking a highly skilled Composites Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Ballymena. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of composite manufacturing processes, ensuring the highest quality products are delivered to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement composite manufacturing processes to meet customer requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new products
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Provide technical support to production teams to resolve manufacturing issues

Requirements:

  • HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline or at least 5 years relevant experience
  • Previous experience of composite manufacturing gained in a fast-paced engineering/manufacturing environment
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
  • 3D modeling experience and understanding of engineering drawings, tooling, and ERP/MOB and routing generation
