About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Customer Service Team Member in one of our stores. As a valued member of our team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and providing an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Availability Window

You will be required to work within our designated availability window, which includes Sundays (10:00 AM - 9:30 PM), Mondays (10:00 AM - 9:30 PM), Tuesdays (10:00 AM - 9:30 PM), Fridays (10:00 AM - 9:30 PM), and Saturdays (10:00 AM - 9:30 PM).

What We Offer

As a Customer Service Team Member with Tesco, you can expect:

  • A competitive starting hourly rate of £12.02, increasing to £13.15 for stores within the M25
  • The opportunity to work flexible hours, including part-time options
  • 16 guaranteed hours per week, with opportunities to work more if desired
  • 3 weeks' notice of scheduled shifts

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience
  • Building rapport with customers and responding to their needs
  • Taking initiative and making decisions that benefit customers
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and drive store performance
  • Maintaining store appearance and adhering to company policies and procedures
