About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safeguarding Public Protection Specialist to join our team at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Safeguarding, Public Protection and Mental Capacity Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients and service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver training programs on safeguarding, public protection, and mental capacity to staff across the organization.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on safeguarding and public protection to colleagues and external agencies.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to safeguarding and public protection.
  • Represent the Trust at multi-agency meetings and forums to promote the importance of safeguarding and public protection.
  • Work closely with frontline teams to ensure that safeguarding and public protection practices are embedded in all aspects of service delivery.

Requirements
  • Education to degree level in mental health, social care, or a related field.
  • Experience of working in safeguarding and public protection, preferably in a mental health or learning disability setting.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external agencies.
  • Ability to prioritize competing objectives and workloads, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
