About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safeguarding Public Protection Specialist to join our team at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Safeguarding, Public Protection and Mental Capacity Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients and service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance safeguarding knowledge and skills within the organization.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on safeguarding and public protection matters to colleagues and external agencies.
  • Collaborate with multi-agency teams to promote understanding and develop systems that work together to safeguard adults, children, and families.
  • Represent the organization in multi-agency meetings to advocate for people with mental health problems, learning disabilities, and autism.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to safeguarding and public protection.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working in mental health or learning disability services.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and public protection policies and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and external agencies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
