Senior Facility Maintenance Specialist

AWE Plc is currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Engineer to deliver and lead professional engineering services. The successful candidate will be responsible for enabling the Principal Asset Engineer in fulfilling the strategy for the upkeep of all assets and equipment.
Salary
The salary for this role is £47,690 - £66,000 per annum, depending on your suitability and level of experience.
Job Description
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
- Applying extensive field and technical knowledge for the design intent, as-built standards, and system performance throughout the asset's life cycle for facility systems and structures.
- Interpreting and delivering the requirements of complex and high-profile tasks, including troubleshooting, quoting, reporting, design, commissioning, and handover as required.
- Leading and advising engineers in the delivery of innovative solutions to complex engineering problems.
- Identifying, escalating, and managing risks arising from the condition of engineered systems and structures.
- Ensuring adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements associated with working in a highly regulated environment, including Safe Systems of Work (SSoW).
- Engaging with company delivery and administrative requirements, supporting performance management, and team progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in leading engineering delivery across infrastructure facilities in highly regulated industries, such as oil & gas, rail, aerospace, or chemical & explosive. You should also have experience in facility engineering and maintenance services throughout an asset's life cycle, as well as electrical building services, including LV/HV, HVAC, small power, lighting, lightning protection, ATEX, UPS, etc.
