Social Work Specialist

This role offers a competitive salary of £38,457 per annum (pro rata for part-time) and is located in Oldham, Manchester. As a member of our team, you'll have the chance to work with adults who have learning disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
About the Job:
We're seeking a skilled social worker to conduct thorough assessments and develop person-centered support plans. This role involves collaboration with other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach and provide guidance and support to individuals and their families.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals with learning disabilities.
- Design and implement tailored support plans to promote independence and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with health, education, and housing professionals to ensure a coordinated approach.
- Provide guidance and support to individuals and their families.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records.
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work from a recognized institution.
- Registration with Social Work England as a qualified social worker.
- Experience working with adults who have learning disabilities.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Benefits:
This is a full-time contract position available for 6 months, with a salary range based on an estimated hourly rate of £30. Note that the exact number of hours required will depend on your individual circumstances.
