This is an exciting opportunity to join our children and families team in Manchester as a qualified social worker. The successful candidate will have a strong background in social work, preferably within a children's social care setting.
The role involves working with service users and their families to support them in achieving positive outcomes, managing risk situations and developing effective solutions.
You will be part of a supportive team that works closely together to ensure the safety of children, and you will be expected to maintain accurate records in accordance with statutory targets and policy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting service users and their families to achieve positive outcomes
- Working with City Council colleagues and partner agencies to manage risk situations
- Developing positive solutions for service delivery and engagement
- Maintaining accurate records in accordance with statutory targets and policy
