Cathedral Appointments Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Administrator to join their team based in Torquay. This full-time, permanent position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to pursue a career in Financial Services.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Mortgage Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to Managing Directors/IFA's, ensuring smooth mortgage case progressions and resolving any queries that arise.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Progressing mortgages through to legal completion and beyond
- Liaising with Mortgage Advisers to ensure appraisal of the progress of mortgage cases and resolve any queries arising
- Recording and updating client matter details on the firm's databases
- Handling telephone calls and recording messages for team members
In addition, you will be required to support the Advisors to ensure all activities meet compliance and regulatory requirements. This may involve maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Financial Services products and procedures as well as having a thorough understanding of the local market.
We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus a range of benefits including 25 days' holiday, access to a Company Pension Scheme, Private Medical Insurance, and parking.
