GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Educational Needs Support Assistant to join our team in Portsmouth. As a Special Educational Needs Support Assistant, you will work alongside experienced teachers to support small groups of children with individual learning plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with small groups of children through targeted interventions to ensure all students reach their full potential.
  • Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons, providing one-on-one support to students and facilitating small group activities.
  • Assisting in maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment, following the school's behaviour policy.
  • Safeguarding will be your number one priority, ensuring the welfare of the children.

Requirements:

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
