Job Title: Special Needs Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers to provide support to children with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to children with complex needs
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons
  • Help to create a nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
  • Work with small groups of children or on a 1:1 basis

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Positive personality and ability to work in a challenging setting
  • Knowledge of PECS or Makaton is an advantage

Benefits:

  • Competitive pay rate of £95 per day
  • Full-time position (term-time only) with regular working hours
  • Location: Portsmouth
